The most dog friendly holiday in Cornwall

by Three Mile Beach

What we do for dogs

They are part of the family, which is why a true dog friendly holiday in Cornwall should include the dog. These days there are many holiday providers who can cater for the canines, but few are well and truly dog friendly. Whilst others may tolerate dogs, or make a specific accommodation available for dogs, at Three Mile Beach, we welcome them across the board, as part of your family and as part of ours.

Here's a few reasons why Three Mile Beach is the most dog friendly holiday in Cornwall.

1. Any beach house All of our luxury beach houses, be that two-bedroom beach shacks, three-bedroom beach houses or four-bedroom beach houses are fully dog friendly. The pooch is welcome to stay in any of our houses, and those houses are all as dog friendly as each other. They all feature luxury touches for the humans, with their own private hot tubs and saunas and large, contained decking areas perfect for pooches to laze around in the sunshine. If the weather isn't quite as good, then you can fire up the log burners and let the dog stretch out by the fire. 2. Dog beds and more

We don't expect you to bring your own dog beds (although you can if you prefer). If the dog is part of the family, then they deserve as comfortable night's sleep as those of us that walk on two legs. We provide Yeti and Fatboy beds for dogs staying at Three Mile Beach, to ensure a perfect dog friendly stay. 3. A doggy welcome The hound will also get treats included in your welcome hamper on arrival. They can tuck into Forthglade dog treats and feel the same warm welcome that guests get, because they deserve a delicious bonus as much as any human does. 4. Dog Friendly beaches a skip away

A beach holiday in Cornwall with the dog can be tricky in the summer, but not here at Three Mile Beach. Many beaches in Cornwall operate a daytime dog ban on beaches during the peak season, meaning that the dog can't enjoy sand between their toes like we do. Our home in Gwithian offers access to year-round dog friendly sand, with the stretch West of the Gwithian lifeguard hut being accessible to dogs throughout the year, whatever the season. Pooch can also enjoy the towans, with plenty explore, all of which can be found in our walks guide, which will be in your beach house when you get here. If your dog can't read you could always read it to them. 5. Dog stick library How about a dog stick library? Yep, like with everything customer service at Three Mile Beach, we have once again gone above and beyond. To be honest, it's likely because we prefer dogs to humans, just a little. our dog stick library offers a collection of great sticks and other toys that dogs can select a favourite from before hitting the beach for a walk, play and swim in the sea. Dog friendly breaks in Cornwall don't come any better than this.

6. Dog Pamper Package

We've added the ultimate luxury dog extra for your four-legged friend.

The pamper package includes an exclusive upcycled dog robe (made from our micro spas used robes) that they can take home. as well as a Digby Dogs Grooming Parlour. In the pamper pack there's dog wash, conditioner, soothe spray, refresh spray and a balm.

You can book a pamper package over on the extras page.

Our coastal and rural location means that there are also plenty of pubs and cafes that are dog friendly, meaning that when you are out for lunch or dinner the dog can come with you. You can also be assured a warm welcome at Chomp, our stunning alfresco gastro beach bar. Good food and treats for four legged friends.
